Privacy (data protection) declaration

Overview

Because our web servers reside in Germany, we have to meet the requirements of German and European laws and regulations about data collection and protection of personal data.
Complansoft takes this protection of personal and confidential data very serious and, of course, obeyes the regulations of the tele media law (Telemediengesetz, TMG), the data protection law (Datenschutzgesetz, BDSG) and other regulations of data protection.

Since different term are used in different countries, please note that this text uses the term "data protection". It is meant equivally to the terms "privacy", "obligation of secrecy", "protection of privacy" and similar terms possibly used in the legal system of your country.

We try to take all technical and organisational tasks to store your personal data in a way that they are not accessible to others.
We can not provide full data security for the communication via e-mail. Therefore, we recommend sending confidential information by mail.

The following decalaration will give you an overview about how we safegaurd the protection of data an which kind of data will be collected for which purposes.

Subject of data protection

Subject of data protection is personal related information. According to § 3 passage 1 BDSG these are single informations about personal or material circumstances of a certain or determinable natural person. This affects information as name, postal address, phone number or e-mail address and if applicable other information, e.g. internet traffic data as your IP address.

Coverage of data collection and storage

We follow the policy of the economy of data and the purpose commited usage of data.
Generally, it is not necessary to specify personal data to use our website. To be able to fulfill our services, we need your personal data at some points. This is true for sending information material to you as well as for answering individual questions.
If you place an order for a service or the sending of information material, we strictly collect and store your personal data only as far as this is necessary for the supply of a service or the accomplishment of a ontract.
For this purposes, it may be necessary to pass your personal data to businesses that we deploy to fulfill the service or contract. These are e.g. transportation businesses or other services.
After completion of the service or contract your data will be locked and after expiration of the deadlines of the tax and trade laws and regulations they will be deleted, unless you specifically authorised further usage of the data.

Collection and usage of traffic data

Because of technical reasons, your internet browser automatically transfers data to our web server when it accesses our web site.
For the optimisation of our web site we collect this data, e.g. date an time of page access, the referrer page, browser type and version, operating system, your IP address and similiar information. This is done anonymized, without personally identifying the user. Possibly user profiles based on pseudonyms are created. Here as well no connection between the pseudonym and the natural person behind with the data collected will be made.
Neither for the collection and storage of traffic data nor for other purposes we use cookies.
The traffic data are only collected for statistical purposes, to continously improve our web site and to design it more attractively. The data collection and storage occurs only in an anonymised or pseudonymised way and does not allow any conclusion to you as individual.
We do not pass the traffic data to assessment, analysis or profiling systems.

Purpose commited usage of data

We observe the policy of purpose commited usage of data and collect, handle and store your personal related data only for those purposes you have notified.
A transfer of personal data to third parties does not occur without your explicit authorisation, except this is necessary for the supply of a service or the accomplishment of a ontract. Also, the transfer to entitled governmental authorities does only occur due to the legal obligation to give information or if we are obligated by court order.

We also take serious care of the internal data protection. Our employees and contractors are obligated to secrecy and to the compliance of all legal data protection and privacy regulations.

Inventory of data

If a contractual relationship shall be founded, embellished with regard to contents mor modified, we collect and handle personal related data of you as necessary.
By ruling of relevant government agencies we are permitted in particular cases to provide information about these data, as far this is necessary to fulfill the purposes of law enforcement, danger prevention, the legal duties of the Offices for the Protection of the Constitution or the military secret service or the enforcement of the rights on intellectual property.

Right of access to personal data

As a user of our internet site, you have the right to get information about the stored data about your person, its origins and, if applicable, receivers, as well as the purposes of the storage at any time.
On your demand this information can be given in electronic form.
